I have been using barefoot shoes for running but decided to go for a cushioned shoes, to protect my knees. These shoes are perfect, they are quite wide, which is ideal for my feet, and don't squish my toes. They also don't have too much cushioning, as some of the latest trend seems to be. I've used them quite a few times now and I haven't had any problems. overall, a great purchase
