Very lightweight and responsive shoe for your fast races and workouts. I’ll be getting more pairs.

Confession - I'm a long time Adidas fan but not every shoe is fantastic I'll admit that. I had never tried the Takumi Sen line and had wanted to see what they were like. There's so many shoes in the Adizero stable it's hard to justify trying everything. A 2 pair fan of Adiós 8 I was disappointed in the 9's and wanted something to slot in below carbons (Pro 4) for sessions and short races. Straight out of the box I liked these. Similar upper styling to the Adiós 9 but with a more substantial sole. The addition of the energy rods just make these shoes pop like the old Adiós 8's. I'm having to resist reaching for them too often. Fit wise they are similar to the Pro 4's. There's decent level of comfort from the Lightstrike foam. I may eventually try them out on some longer runs. A big thumbs up from me, especially if you can snag a reduction!
